The new DenyConformity.com has been around for almost two weeks, now, and everything is going great. We’ve had a brand new post every single day, and - if I say so myself - each post has been greater than the one before.
The time has come to announce the first DenyConformity.com Saturday Sweepstakes!
Twice a month (or so), I will choose one lucky reader to win an actual prize. I’m not making this up - it is a real thing that I will send right to whatever address you want. The only catch is that the prize is a knight - a real Sir Prize. Get it? “Sir Prize?”
It’s a surprise, okay? I’m not telling you what it is. You’ll just have to put up with my dumb jokes if you want to find out. Also, you have to jump through a few hoops. You see, I’m still working on adding features to the site, and one of the features I’m working on is some functionality to share the site with all that newfangled “social media.”
Yeah, I could put a little “F” or “T” button on my posts to let you easily send a link to your friends and followers, but that just seems so - well - conformist. I’m thereby looking for exciting, hilarious, awesome, or downright weird ways to share the site and all its great content to everybody out there. Here’s how you come in.
Share the site! It’s that easy. Just get the word out - any way you can - and let me know how it worked out. Please email examples of your sharing endeavors to sweepstakes@denyconformity.com, and in a week I’ll pick the idea that either worked the best or otherwise appealed to me the most. That’s right - you have one whole week to get the word out there and then get word of that word to me.
Invite people to tweet about the site with the #DenyConformity hashtag. Invite people to the DenyConformity.com Facebook page. Burn a giant version of the DenyConformity.com logo into the lawn of your favorite congressman or celebrity (don’t actually do that). You have until next Saturday to get the word out, at which point I will choose a lucky person to send this junk I found sweet, sweet prize to.
