Univox Corporation: The Rebutal
Last week I posted a couple letters I received from some strange company called Univox Corporation (What is Univox Corporation?). Well, I found out that they came from my old friend John. I was the subject of some weird prank trying to get me to go to a random address in Chicago looking for computer mainframes and looking the fool. Revenge was in order. I decided to respond in kind.
While at some consignment / used clothing / junk store, I found an old back-issue of PC Magazine - from the late 90’s. It was full of articles and ads talking about really old computer stuff that’s so obsolete now it’s actually a joke. At least, I hoped it would make for a pretty good joke. I knew it would be the perfect random thing to send to my friends at Univox, so I mailed it to John, along with a letter. In the interest of continuing my series on “I have nothing to write about so I’m just digging up random stuff out of my drawers” I have transcribed the letter below.
